At the La Masia campsite, you'll stay in the seaside resort of Blanes. This former fishing village promises holidays that are sporty and fun. Snorkelling, sea fishing, bike rides, kayaking, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, golf... Endless fun memories guaranteed!

You're also close to a golf course, bowling alley, cinema, the Mar i Murtra and Pinya de Rosa botanic gardens, rMaineland and the Waterworld waterpark. A little further away, the Salvador Dalí Theatre-Museum (87km) and PortAventura theme park (less than 2 hours away) are unmissable highlights of the area.

In the evening the town is full of life. Head to the waterfront to grab a table at a restaurant, have a drink in a trendy bar or just stroll along the beach.

Culture and heritage

During your stay in Blanes, you can discover Catalonia's architectural and historical treasures:

• Visit Barcelona, only 72km away: the Sagrada Familia, gothic quarter, place d'Espagne, park Güell, aquarium and seafront promenade. There is so much to see! 

• You can also discover the medieval city of Girona (40km away): the old town, Jewish quarter, the cathedral and with its magnificent nave and the colourful houses along the river.

There's also: Tordera (the old town, Mediterranean museum, medieval castle), the Citadel of Roses, Montserrat, Calella, Cadaqués and Palafolls.

When it comes to nature, you can roam magnificent protected parks: Parc Naturel d'Els Aiguamolls de l'Emporda, Parc Natural del Cap de Creuse and the Medes Islands off the coast of L'Estartit.
